Renovating Our New Location!
April 27, 2018What it is Like Working at the Autism Awareness Shop
October 22, 2018Our long awaited grand opening was a huge success and we are thankful for the support of every single person who helped with it or came out to support us. We could not have done it without you and we are grateful for your support. We hope that you had as great of a time as we did!
What a wonderful day
We had started the festivities the evening before our grand opening with a ribbon cutting. Our first autistic employee Cody had the honor of cutting the ribbon amid great fanfare. The ribbon as well as the ceremonies photography was provided by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce. 93.3 FLZ, Tampa’s #1 hit music channel, set up a booth to help promote the event. The Tampa Chalk Car Volunteers from nearby South University helped to sign up people to learn more about the therapy services and support groups that we offer. Some of their students did face painting as well. We wound up giving away over 50 free autism awareness necklaces at the event and we could not have done this without them!
A BIG Thank You
The photography for the event was donated by DM Tower Photography and all of the photos featured in our blog section are courtesy of them. Thanks you DM Tower Photography for all that you do and continue to do for us.
